What is so good about gardening?

 

Gardening was not invented yesterday. Originally gardening had everything to do with your needs and wants. Believe it or not but gardening can really be forfilling. Taking care of your very own garden in which vegetables, flowers, apples, pears and trees are growing. Gardening is all about doing it, learning it and experiencing it. Knowledge is handy, but not essential. Gardening is nothing for lazy people as it will take some time and effort. You really need to think before starting gardening. If you know that you will not follow through this garden is going to be a horrible feature at your house. The garden will look dead and you will not get any satisfaction from your garden.

 

Harvesting depends on sowing

 

There is a wide variety of benefits when you start gardening. Just think of it; the moment you walk out of your garden and you take a fresh bite out of you own grown apple. The same applies to your vegetables or the flowers you put in the house. Due to the fact that you produced these products yourself, the likelihood that you will eat better will increase. One step further is organic gardening. Who does that nowadays? Eating your own pure, fresh and all natural fruits and veggies!. Organic gardening will help you unconciously as well. People who produce fruit and veggies organically tend to have better eating patterns. They actually start to eat their own food.

 

While gardening you also forget about normal life. It is a very good method of releasing stress. As a result you will feel more relaxed after a day of working in your garden. Being busy with the plants and the soil will relieve us of our everyday activities and therefore the stress involved with this. Getting dirty and the nurturing of our plants will relax us more and more. Getting in contact with nature will definately result in a better contact with yourself as well. At the same time you will start to develop a sense for taking care of your plants and therefore you will discover an affinity to nature.

 

Gardening cannot be done while sitting in a chair. You'll have to move. It's an excellent way of exercising. Digging in the soil, bending over to get the branches, pruning trees and cutting plants will burn calories. Your body will start to sweat and at the end of this day you will feel tired and forfilled. Moving like this will only be a benefit for you. Fresh air will run through your lungs and at the same time you will catch some sunlight as well. The movements, the sunlight, breathing fresh are is good for you.

 

Gardening is challenging us in various ways. We can plan our garden strategically and systematically or we just create an organically planned garden by throwing the seeds randomly in the gardenbed. Analytical thinking is required when we plan a systematical garden. In such a garden we need to think about many aspect of the garden.

 

Have you ever tried to be hasty while gardening?. It doesn't work. You'll need patience in order to enjoy gardening. Gardening will eventually result in being more responsible for yourself (and the garden) and will help you becoming more grounded as a person.
